Morocco’s Baccalaureate Pass Rate Soars to 77.96% in 2019, Girls Outperform

The national success rate of the baccalaureate in Morocco in 2019 is now set at 77%, after the results of the make-up session. In the first round of the exam, the results stood at 65.55%, compared to 57.36% in 2018, an increase of 8.19 points.
The final results of the Baccalaureate 2019 in Morocco have been known since Thursday, July 11, 2019. The rate is set at 77.96%. For the Minister of National Education, the number of candidates who succeeded in the make-up session of the Baccalaureate is 39,052.
This brings the total number of graduates this year to 253,808, or 77.96%, compared to 71.96% in 2018. Girls, for their part, represent 54.30% of the graduates. The number of high school students in the scientific streams is 16,227, compared to 86,780 for the literary ones.
