Morocco Awarded Hosting Rights for 2022 African Champions League Final

The 2022 Champions League final will take place in Morocco. This is the decision of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
"The CAF has received applications from the Senegalese Football Federation and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation to host the final of the 2022 CAF Total Energies Champions League. The Senegalese Football Federation has since withdrawn its application. The CAF is therefore pleased to award the organization of the 2022 CAF Total Energies Champions League Final to Morocco," the CAF explained in a statement published on its official website.
The 2022 Champions League final will take place at the Mohammed V sports complex in Casablanca, the same stadium chosen for the previous edition’s final. The finalist teams will be known after the semi-finals scheduled for Friday, May 13.
