Morocco Attracts Major Film and TV Productions, Hosts Multiple International Shoots

The Moroccan Cinematographic Center (CCM) has published on its website the list of foreign productions currently filming in the Kingdom.
Morocco has been the preferred destination for the filming of the biggest series and films for several years now.
According to Huffpost, last year it hosted the filming of the K-drama, "Vagabond", currently airing on Korean television and Netflix.
Among other major cinematic successes filmed in Morocco in 2019, there is almost the entire last season of the series "Homeland", and the series, "The spy", broadcast on Netflix.
Currently, three films and series are being filmed in Morocco: "The last planet" is a film by director Malick Terrence.
The filming, which should continue until December 12, brings together an international cast. The other film being shot in Morocco is "Black widow".
The various parties involved in the production and direction of this film are currently in the north of the country for the filming of several action sequences.
According to the CCM, the team will travel to different cities in the north, including Tangier, Tetouan and Assilah.
Season 5 of the flagship series of Canal+ "Bureau des légendes" is making a comeback. And, like the previous seasons, this one will also make a stop in Morocco. The shootings will take place in Casablanca but also in Rabat, Mohammedia, El Jadida, Erfoud, Merzouga, Ouarzazate and Zagora.
They should be completed on October 20, according to the same source. In the cast of this emblematic series, renowned actors including Louis Garrel who will join the team of actors composed of Mathieu Kasovitz, Mathieu Amalric, Arthus and Sara Giraudeau.
