Morocco Attracts Hollywood A-Listers for Spy Thriller ’355’ Filming

According to Variety, the list of American productions filmed in Morocco is growing. And for good reason! Announced last year at the Cannes Film Festival, the film "355" which boasts a dream cast will be filmed in part in Morocco. Thus, after John Wick 3, Men In Black International or the Homeland series, this year, "355" is added to the list of films with an international cast whose filming takes place in Morocco.

Among the other personalities of the seventh art and other famous actors who will appear in this film, the Variety newspaper cites, among others, in the credits, the American Jessica Chastain (It 2, The Color of Feelings, Zero Dark Thirty), the Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong’o (Black Panther, Twelve years a slave, Us...), the Spaniard Penelope Cruz (Volver, Vicky, Cristina, Barcelona, Nine) and the Chinese Fan Bing Bing (X-Men: Days of Future Past, Iron man 3).

The same source specifies that these actresses will play spies from "international agencies from around the world". Their mission is a daunting one. They will indeed have to unite their forces and use "all their considerable talents and training to prevent an event from occurring that could plunge our shaky world into total chaos".

As for the men, the newspaper also mentions the presence of not the least actors. Film buffs will be able to find on the bill the Venezuelan actor Edgar Ramirez (The assassination of Gianni Versace, Carlos, The Girl on the Train) or the American actor of Romanian origin Sebastian Stan (Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Endgame, I, Tonya,...).
