Morocco Arrests Pro-ISIS Suspect with Explosive-Making Materials in Salé

The pro-Daesh terrorist active in the Sala Al Jadida region, and arrested by the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ), was brought before the public prosecutor in charge of terrorism and extremism cases on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old suspect had downloaded several documents and digital books from extremist websites, which were found on the electronic equipment and computer materials seized during the search of his home. These contents describe the method of manufacturing and activating explosives and explosive devices as well as the steps of manufacturing toxic substances, a BCIJ statement had said.
The technical expertise carried out on these elements also revealed the assault techniques against prisons and confrontations with the security forces, the statement adds, noting that the pro-Daesh suspect, after having carried out several experiments on the preparation and assembly of explosive devices, was about to act. He had been arrested on December 16 by the BCIJ during a joint operation carried out by the DGST services, the National Security and the American intelligence services.
