Morocco Approves $210 Million Highway Expansion Plan for 2024

The budget of Autoroutes du Maroc was voted during the Board of Directors meeting held under the chairmanship of Mr. Nizar BARAKA, Minister of Equipment and Water, on December 19, 2023. Here are the conclusions:
The budget is mainly based on the following assumptions:
• A turnover of 3.8 billion Dirhams, up 3% compared to 2023;
• An Investment budget of 2.1 Billion Dirhams, concerning:
The continuation of the work on the last two lots of the Casablanca - Berrechid motorway tripling project and the Casablanca bypass motorway;
• The construction of the new Tit Mellil-Berrechid motorway;
• The strengthening of the security system for motorway users;
• The continued deployment of the automation program for operations.
