Morocco and Romania Set to Sign Military Cooperation Agreement

A military rapprochement is in preparation between Morocco and Romania. Angel Tivlar, the Romanian Minister of National Defense, received on Wednesday the Moroccan Ambassador to Romania, Hassan Abouyoub, to discuss ways to improve their political-military dialogue. The two countries seem determined to collaborate to strengthen security cooperation.
The main objective of this meeting was to pave the way for Angel Tivlar’s future visit to Morocco. On this occasion, a military cooperation agreement between the two countries will be formalized. According to a statement from the Romanian Ministry of Defense, this approach aims to serve their security interests.
The two officials highlighted the importance of this agreement, not only for strengthening bilateral defense ties, but also for contributing to regional stability.
