On the sidelines of the Global Investment Forum organized by The Jerusalem Post in Marrakech, Jalil Benabbès-Taarji, former president of the Moroccan National Association of Tourism Investors, and Matan Be’eri (Eilat - Israel) participated in a panel on tourism, during which they highlighted the tourism potential of the kingdom and the city of Eilat (Israel).
Benabbès-Taarji mentioned Morocco’s proximity to Europe, its culture and values, and the warm hospitality of the Moroccan people. As for Matan Be’eri, he cited the attractions of Eilat, including the Red Sea, diving sites, luxury hotels, common borders with Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, and the appeal of the desert. He also presented to foreign investors a range of economic and logistical advantages offered by the city.
The Israeli elected official invited investors to participate in the transformation of Eilat and the improvement of the city’s tourism product in the spirit of the Abraham Accords, including the development of medical tourism, the construction of a "World City" center similar to Dubai, and a conference and events center.
