Negev Summit in Morocco Postponed Amid Escalating Israel-Palestine Tensions

The second Negev Forum, scheduled to take place next month in southern Morocco, has just been postponed due to the escalation of Israeli attacks against the Palestinians.
The second meeting of the foreign ministers of the signatory countries of the Abraham Accords and the US Secretary of State (Negev Summit) was to take place in March in the Moroccan Sahara, but no date had been set, reports Israel Hayom. The summit has just been postponed due to the escalation of Israeli attacks against the Palestinians.
In a message to Israel, Morocco expressed concern about the situation in the occupied territories, as well as the policy of the Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir.
During the first meeting held in the Negev in Israel, the participants (United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco) exchanged on cooperation in the fields of energy, regional security, tourism, food security, water and sanitation. Morocco normalized its relations with Israel within the framework of the Abraham Accords, in exchange for the American recognition of the Moroccanness of the Sahara.
