Morocco and Israel Accelerate Diplomatic Ties, Form Working Group for Cooperation

The agreement to normalize diplomatic relations between Morocco and Israel has a bright future ahead of it. The two countries have agreed to set up a working group that will be responsible for developing the roadmap for their cooperation.
After the announcement of the Morocco-Israel rapprochement, the two parties have carried out several actions. We can mention, among others, the signing of the tripartite agreement between Morocco, the United States and the Hebrew state, the videoconference between Moulay Hafid Elalamy, Moroccan Minister of Industry, Trade and Green and Digital Economy and Amir Peretz, Israeli Minister of Economy, etc.
During this interview, the two officials identified a set of sectors that provide significant qualifications for the partnership. These sectors are: textiles, the food industry, applied research in industry, green technologies, as well as the renewable energy industry.
Messrs. Elalamy and Peretz also decided to set up a joint working group whose mission will be to develop a roadmap for cooperation between the two countries in these areas. In other words, it is a question of a detailed action plan for each identified sector.
