Morocco and Israel Eye Joint Ventures in Palestine and Gulf States

With the normalization of relations between Morocco and Israel, the two countries hope to develop joint ventures in Palestine, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. At least, this is what emerges from the statements of the Israeli Minister of Economy and Industry, Amir Peretz.
Israel would seek to take advantage of Moroccan expertise and its strategic geographical location to develop and conquer new markets, the Israeli minister told the newspaper L’Économiste, stressing that this will be a powerful lever for growth for local companies.
The Moroccan-born official invited Moroccan investors to seize the opportunities offered by his country, knowing that more than 500 multinationals have chosen to create research and development centers in Tel Aviv. With complementary economic approaches, "the transfer of technologies and know-how will benefit both countries. Just as Morocco can take advantage of Israeli expertise in artificial intelligence, agriculture and water management, Israel has a lot to learn from Moroccan expertise in the automotive industry," the minister specified.
