Morocco and Algeria Set for CHAN Qualifier Showdown in March and October

The dates of the double confrontation between the teams of Morocco and Algeria are now known. They have just been made public by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
As part of the qualifiers for the 6th edition of the African Nations Championship (CHAN), the Atlas Lions will therefore meet the Fennecs between March 20 and 22 for the first leg in Algeria, while the return leg is to take place between October 18 and 20, indicates the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) on its website.
In total, 48 teams will take part in these qualifiers, including the host country Ethiopia with a view to validating the participation of 15 teams for the final phases.
It should be noted that it was the Moroccan team that had won the last edition (2018) by largely defeating the Nigerian team 4-0. This edition allowed the emergence of the player Ayoub El Kaabi who, in the meantime, has flown to China.
