Morocco and Algeria Face Off in Crucial U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifier

The U17 Lionesses of the Atlas are preparing to face Algeria in a decisive two-legged tie for qualification for the World Cup in this category. The first match will take place on May 10 in Berkane, the second on May 17 in Algiers.
Buoyed by their crushing victory over Niger (11-0 in the first and second legs), the Lionesses are aiming for another success against Algeria. The objective is clear: to take a serious option on qualification for the U17 Women’s World Cup, which will take place in the Dominican Republic from October 16 to November 3.
As for the Algerian selection, it had qualified with difficulty against the Benin team. After losing 2-0 in Benin, the Algerian players fought hard to snatch the victory they managed to obtain after a penalty shootout (9-8).

• May 17: Salem Mabrouki Stadium, Algiers (5:30 pm)
