Morocco Aims to Extend AFCON Lead Against DR Congo in Group Six Clash

Morocco faces the Democratic Republic of Congo this Sunday, January 21, in a match that is part of the second day of group six of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. Which players could Walid Regragui choose?
In their first match, the Moroccans won a clear 3-0 victory over Tanzania. Thanks to this success, they have taken the lead in their group, two points ahead of their direct competitors, their opponent of the day and Zambia.
Ranked fourth in the last World Cup in Qatar, the Moroccan team will face the Democratic Republic of Congo with an almost complete squad. Nasser Mazraoui should still rest and will be available for the round of 16, if, of course, Morocco qualifies. Walid Regragui could integrate three new players for this highly anticipated match against the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The core that Walid Regragui should choose should look like this:
• Goalkeeper: Yassine Bounou
• Defense: Achraf Hakimi, Yahya Attiat-Allah, Romain Saïss, Nayef Aguerd
• Midfield: Sofyan Amrabat, Azzedine Ounahi, Bilal El Khannous or Amine Harit.
• Attack: Sofiane Boufal, Hakim Ziyech, Youssef En-Nesyri
