Morocco Announces 27-Man Squad for 2024 Africa Cup of Nations

The list of 27 players to participate in the Africa Cup of Nations was unveiled this Thursday by the Atlas Lions coach, Walid Regragui. Some surprises in this list and there will also be some disappointed players.
During a press conference organized at the Mohammed VI Complex in Maâmora, Walid Regragui announced the list of 27 players who will participate in the Cup of Nations to be held in Côte d’Ivoire next month.
To recall, Morocco is placed in Group F during the Cup taking place in Côte d’Ivoire from January 13 to February 11, 2024. It will face Tanzania, DR Congo, and Zambia.
Here is the complete list:
• Goalkeepers: Yassine Bounou - Munir Mohamedi El Kajoui - Mehdi Benabid.
• Defenders: Achraf Hakimi - Noussair Mazraoui - Nayef Aguerd - Ghanem Saiss - Chadi Riad - Younes Abdelhamid - Yahya Attiat Allah - Abdelkabir Abqar - Mohamed Chibi.
• Midfielders: Amir Richardson - Azzedine Ounahi - Sofyane Amrabat - Bilal El Khannouss - Selim Amallah - Ismael Saibari - Oussama El Azzouzi - Amine Harit.
• Forwards: Abdessamad Ezzalzouli - Tarik Tissoudali - Amine Adli - Hakim Ziyech - Youssef En-Nesyri - Ayoub El Kaabi - Sofiane Boufal.
