Morocco Aims to Clinch Olympic Berth in Crucial Qualifier Against Tunisia

The Lionesses of the Atlas face Tunisia this Wednesday in the return leg as part of the third round of qualifications for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The objective, according to coach Jorge Vilda, is to confirm the victory in the first leg (2-1) and ultimately secure the ticket to these Games.
"The players are fully prepared to confirm their 2-1 victory in the first leg," said Vilda, after the training session held on Tuesday at the Prince Heir Moulay El Hassan sports complex in Rabat. The Spanish coach assures that this return match against Tunisia will be different from the first leg in terms of the technical level of the Moroccan players.
"Reaching the fourth and final round of Olympic qualifications would be a good achievement for the Moroccan team, which will seek to secure the ticket to the Paris Olympics," added the coach of the Lionesses of the Atlas.
Lioness of the Atlas player Sakina Ouzraoui Diki, who plays for Anderlecht, said the Moroccan women’s team has been mentally prepared to win Wednesday’s match. In the same vein, Inès Kbida, from Olympique de Marseille, reaffirmed the determination of the Moroccan players to win this match and validate their ticket for the fourth round.
The Lionesses of the Atlas won last Friday in Tunis the first leg against Tunisia 2-1. The two teams will play the return leg this Wednesday at 7:00 pm at the Prince Heir Moulay El Hassan sports complex in Rabat. The fourth and final round will take place between April 1 and 9.
