Morocco Aims to Boost COVID-19 Vaccination Rate to 500,000 Daily

With more than 3 million people already vaccinated, Morocco has set a new goal as part of the national vaccination campaign against Covid-19. The kingdom could now move to 500,000 people per day.

The government wants to reach its goal of vaccinating 80% of its population as soon as possible. Starting from 50,000 people per day, the kingdom wants to go faster by vaccinating 500,000 people per day. According to Le360, the stakeholders involved at various levels in this campaign have been called upon to redouble their efforts to achieve this feat.

Already ranked in the top 10 of the countries that have vaccinated their population the most, Morocco intends to set the bar very high and surpass itself. According to an official from the Ministry of Health who requested anonymity, this objective is "within our reach". To this end, an impressive logistical device has been set up by the Ministry of Health as part of this campaign (more than 3,000 vaccination centers, mobile points, home vaccination, mobilization of health professionals, moqaddems and pachas, online or free SMS registration, liqahcorona platform).
