Morocco Aims to Attract 500,000 Expatriate Investors by 2030

Investor Moroccans living abroad, that’s what the Ministry Delegate for Moroccans Residing Abroad (MREs) is looking for, with the ambition of attracting 500,000 by 2030.
At the end of a steering committee meeting, Nezha El Ouafi, the delegate minister in charge of Moroccans residing abroad (MREs), stated that foundations have been laid to achieve this goal. During this meeting, the committee, composed of specialists and experts from the ministry, also decided to recruit some 10,000 skills in various fields, particularly new technologies, by 2030.
According to the supervising minister, some 4,000 skills have already been mobilized in the training sector. By 2030, the cultural aspect will occupy an important place in the life of MREs, she specifies. In this regard, a National Agency for Culture should be created in the very near future.
