Moroccan Women’s Reality TV Appearance Sparks Social Media Outrage

The behaviors deemed indecent of the Moroccan women who participated in the first and second seasons of the Turkish reality TV show "Qesma w Naseeb" are causing a strong controversy on social networks.
Moroccan contestant Wijdane, from the second season of the show, has sparked the anger of Internet users because of her clothes and behaviors that are said to be provocative towards the male contestants. It is claimed that these behaviors undermine the image of the Moroccan woman and the kingdom, have indignantly reacted some Moroccans on social networks.
During the first season, the daring behaviors of the Moroccan candidates, exchanging kisses and hugs with the contestants, had shocked Moroccan viewers and sparked a wave of criticism on social networks.
Produced in Turkey by the Turkish company M. Network, the "Qesma w Naseeb" show brings together young men and women of Arab origin on an isolated island in order to get to know each other and find love. The winning couple leaves with a large jackpot.
