Moroccan Woman in Viral Video Sentenced to Prison, Boyfriend Sought by Police

The court of first instance in Tétouan has sentenced "Moulat Al Khimar", the woman in the full Islamic veil, the heroine of a hot video that went viral on social media, to one month in prison and a fine of 500 DH. Her boyfriend is still actively sought by the police.
A divorced young woman with two children living in the Hachmi district of Tétouan, "Moulat Al Khimar" had been arrested and then placed in custody after the widespread dissemination of an intimate video on Whatsapp and Messenger, as well as on other social networks. In this video, her face and the lower limbs of her companion are visible. The author of the video, the latter is currently on the run. An international arrest warrant has moreover been issued against him.
After an extension of her custody, the defendant was sentenced to one month in prison and a fine of 500 DH. The members of the civil society of the city had demanded that the many people who participated in the widespread dissemination of this video be prosecuted. But justice did not in any way worry them.
