Moroccan Woman Jailed Over Viral Intimate Video, Sparking Adultery Debate

The arrest of the accused follows a complaint filed by her husband with the gendarmerie in the city of Chemaia. After watching a hot video showing her naked, with her face uncovered, the judicial investigators went after her, reports Al Massae.

Knowing that the video had been widely circulated on social networks, this woman from Chemaia left Casablanca, where she was working, to go to Agadir. Back in Chemaia, she was arrested and brought before the public prosecutor’s office near the court of first instance of Youssoufia.

During her custody, the judicial services of the gendarmerie discovered new elements. Questioned, the married woman did not initially admit the facts. When her phone was checked, she finally confessed. She told the investigators that she was having extramarital sexual relations with a married man.

Pending her trial, she was placed in pre-trial detention.
