Moroccan Gendarme Faces Multiple Charges After Viral Video Sparks Outrage

Two of the three people who appeared in a rather compromising video, the dissemination of which, since Saturday, on social networks, has caused a general outcry in Béni Mellal, are being prosecuted under arrest. This is what the court of first instance of the city has decided.
The gendarme who appears in the video is not out of the woods either. He is being prosecuted at large for public drunkenness, incitement to corruption, drug use (cocaine), non-compliance with the authorities’ decisions regarding the state of health emergency and drunk driving, reports Alyaoum24, which points out that the trial of these three people should be held at the beginning of March.
In the video widely circulated on social networks, we see the gendarme accompanied by a young woman and another young man, all visibly drunk. The woman appeared in rather flirtatious and indecent positions.
