Moroccan Woman Protests Royal Pardon of Mother’s Killer After 5 Years Served
In a video posted on social media, a young woman denounces the royal pardon granted to the murderer of her mother, who has only served 5 years of his 15-year sentence in 2014.
In a moving message, the young woman calls for an investigation to determine the conditions of release of her aunt’s husband, a sexagenarian, imprisoned for voluntary double homicide.
On the day of the tragedy, the young woman’s mother, who had come to reconcile the aggressor with his wife, had been the victim of fatal knife blows. The man had also killed his daughter-in-law, by hitting her with a large stone.
Deprived of her mother’s love at a very young age, the young woman, who lives in a hamlet near Settat, wonders if the murderer is really worthy of the royal pardon.
