Child Abuse Scandal in Khenifra: 8-Year-Old Tortured During Lockdown

The story of the torturing stepmother has not finished revealing all its secrets. We now learn that this 8-year-old child, living in Khenifra, had been subjected by his stepmother to torture sessions by fire, during the confinement.
According to the site Rue20, the scandal broke out when the victim’s uncle had discovered burn marks on his body, without being able to know when his torments date back.
Armed with photos of the bruises, supported by the confessions of his little nephew, the man hastened to file a complaint with the services of the royal gendarmerie of the city, who opened a judicial investigation.
For now, the mystery remains whole. We still do not know when these barbaric acts date back, nor the motives that had pushed the stepmother to act in this way. Pending the results of the investigation, she has been detained on the orders of the public prosecutor’s office.
