Moroccan Woman Arrested at Barcelona Airport with 2 Kilos of Hashish in Stomach

The Catalan authorities arrested in early March at the Barcelona airport a 44-year-old woman from Morocco carrying two kilos of hashish in her stomach, as she was trying to pass customs.
The suspect from Fez, Morocco, was hiding 187 balls of hashish weighing two kilos in her stomach. She was arrested on March 4 by Guardia Civil agents at the customs control post of Barcelona airport, reports El Caso.
Placed in custody, the woman showed signs of nervousness and gave incoherent answers to the agents during her interrogation. An attitude that drew the attention of the latter who suspected a drug trafficking.
To be sure, the agents subjected the accused to a thorough medical examination including an X-ray, which confirmed the presence of suspicious products in her stomach and intestines.
Urgently transferred to the University Hospital of Barcelona, she was quickly taken care of. The suspect spent three days under medical supervision during which all the drugs were extracted from her stomach.
