Moroccan Trucker Arrested: 7 Kilos of Hashish Found in Fruit Juice Cartons at Spanish Port

The Guardia Civil at the port of Algeciras arrested a man who was transporting more than seven kilos of hashish in a truck from Morocco, concealed in fruit juice cartons.
The driver was arrested on June 3, during a routine check of vehicles coming from the port of Tanger-Med in Morocco. His nervousness prompted agents to conduct a thorough search of his truck, discovering eight fruit juice cartons hidden in the vehicle’s cabin containing cannabis resin packages weighing 7,700 kilos.
The truck driver was immediately arrested. He is accused of a crime against public health and drug trafficking. The suspect, along with the seized drugs and vehicle, were handed over to the competent judicial authority.
