Moroccan Woman Killed by Algerian Navy in Border Shooting, Rights Group Reports

A young Moroccan woman was killed, in the night from Friday to Saturday last, by the Algerian navy at the border area with Morocco.
According to the Moroccan Association for Human Rights (AMDH), several migrants were targeted by gunfire from the Algerian border guards, killing four people, including a 30-year-old Moroccan woman named Fouzia B. from Ahfir.
The human rights association condemned "these heinous crimes that target simple migrants."
This is not the first time that Algerian soldiers have killed or injured Moroccans at the borders between the two countries. Several reports have denounced psychological and physical violence by the Algerian authorities against migrants.
