Moroccan Trucker Arrested at Spanish Port with 3 Kilos of Hashish

Spanish National Police agents arrested on Sunday in Algeciras a 29-year-old Moroccan who was transporting 3.173 kilos of hashish in a truck. He is being prosecuted for a crime against public health.
The Moroccan left the port of Tanger Med for that of Algeciras at the wheel of the truck. Arrived at the maritime border post of the port of Algeciras, the agents who were carrying out their routine check asked for his papers and to inspect the vehicle. This is how they discovered a package attached to the trailer axle of the truck containing more than three kilos of hashish packaged in 14 packages, reports Hora Sur.
The Moroccan was arrested and taken to the Algeciras police station before being made available to the competent court, which ordered his detention.
