Jawad Abdelmoula, 27, won his first triathlon World Cup in South Korea, honoring the national flag.
Held on the courses of Tongyeong, this competition was highly anticipated by triathlon enthusiasts, especially the fans of the Moroccan licensed to "Les Sables Vendée Triathlon".
Overtaken during the swimming event by his opponents, the runner dominated the running race, reports Actu, specifying that the champion quickly distanced the peloton of 20 runners. This allowed him to win the overall competition.
The Sables resident has just won his first World Cup victory and beats Alessio Crociani and Spaniard Sergio Baxter Cabrera.
