Moroccan TikTokers Spark Outrage by Livestreaming Deaths and Funerals

If there is an unfortunate trend that is developing more and more in Morocco, it is the trivialization of death on TikTok and other social networks by Moroccan influencers.
Moroccan influencers have developed an unfortunate trend that consists of trivializing death on social networks. They do not hesitate to document the tragedies and funerals of their loved ones. One of them is named Sarah. This TikToker recently broadcast live the moment of her grandmother Mi Saadia’s death. Enough to shock Moroccan Internet users. The latter criticized her behavior, which they described as immoral and inhumane, particularly because of her cries, tears and collapse during the funeral.
Examples of this kind are legion. Some see it as a way to pay tribute and share their pain, while others denounce a trivialization of death and an unhealthy quest for notoriety and buzz. Shouldn’t pain remain intimate and shared within the family and friends circle, rather than being exposed to the gaze of thousands of subscribers?, we wonder.
