Moroccan Tennis Star Benchetrit Clinches First Title of Year at Doha Tournament

Moroccan tennis player Elliot Benchetrit won the international tennis tournament in Doha on Saturday, thus winning his first title of the year.
The Moroccan won the title against the Russian Bogdan Bobrov, whom he beat in two sets (6-4, 6-3). Before this stage, Benchetrit had defeated the Estonian Kritjan Tam (6/4, 3/6, 6/1), the Romanian Marius Copil (6/3, 6/2), the Uzbek Khumoyun Sultanov (7/5, 6/2).
In the semifinals, he was to face the Australian and No. 7 of the tournament, Bernard Tomic. But the latter withdrew, allowing the Moroccan to advance to the final and win against the Russian Bogdan Bobrov.
