Moroccan Teen Sentenced to 2 Years for Classmate Rape in El Jadida

According to the Arabic daily Assabah which reported the facts, the two young people, very close, were frequenting each other and even exchanging kisses in front of the high school. But the young man, who wanted to go beyond this flirtation, lured his classmate into an apartment, located in the Sidi Massoud district, where he sexually assaulted her.

In her testimony to the police, the young girl recounts waking up completely naked, with her rapist next to her, in underwear stained with the blood of his victim. He promised to marry her when she reproached him for his crime. But according to the newspaper, he had invented the marriage to calm her down, as she was raped a second time, thus submitting to the demands of the young man who threatened to reveal everything if she did not obey him.

Under the influence of the latter, she fled her parents’ home to go to Casablanca with her rapist. Found by her father, she was examined by a gynecologist who announced to the latter that his daughter had lost her virginity.

It was only when she returned to Oulad Frej that the young girl filed a complaint with the elements of the royal gendarmerie, who immediately arrested the young man. Prosecuted for rape and abduction of a minor, he was sentenced to two years in prison.
