Moroccan NGO Director Gets 10 Years for Raping Disabled Minor

The director of an association for the disabled in Salé has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for raping a minor, a member of the association. This is the verdict handed down by the Criminal Chamber of the Court of Appeal of Rabat.
The victim regularly participated in the activities of this association for children with special needs and received psychological support, reports Al Akhbar.
It was in this context that the director of the NGO, a man in his fifties, began to harass the young girl. According to the facts, he sent her photos of his intimate parts and sexually explicit videos via a social network. The minor not having reported it to her parents, he went much further by sexually assaulting her.
Faced with this situation, the mother of the minor filed a complaint with the competent services. The judicial police officers of Salé then arrested the director of the association. Before the judge, the defendant rejected the accusations, arguing that he was seduced by the beauty of the young girl. He will add that he is in love with her and even wanted to marry her.
At the bar, the victim recounted the facts in the smallest details. After listening to her, the judge sentenced the director of the NGO to 10 years in prison for sexual assault on a minor resulting in the loss of virginity.
