Moroccan Surgeons Perform Region’s First Shoulder Replacement at Provincial Hospital

A medical staff from the provincial hospital of Fqih Ben Salah has achieved an exploit in terms of surgery by perfectly replacing a patient’s shoulder joint with a shoulder prosthesis.
The surgical procedure was performed by Dr. Oussama El Assil and Dr. Abderrahmane Serouali, both specialists in orthopedic surgery and traumatology. They were assisted by specialized doctors and nurses in anesthesia and resuscitation, reports the MAP.
The operation was carried out last Tuesday at the provincial hospital of Fqih Ben Salah, a first of its kind in the Béni Mellal-Khénifra region.
