Moroccan Student Faces Death Penalty in Fatal Stabbing at China Party

Two Moroccan students would have, in China, fought over a story of jealousy. And one of them would have killed the other, according to media sources. He could face the death penalty.
The conflict would have degenerated during a party, specifies a source on the Article19 site: "During a surprise party, on Saturday evening, an altercation broke out between two Moroccan students... furious, one of the protagonists fatally stabbed his comrade... a story of jealousy".
This happened on May 11, in Wuhan, a province of Hubei about 1000 km from Beijing. Several other Moroccan students would also be involved. "Five Moroccan students and students would be involved, we learned from concordant sources," Article19 specifies.
The victim was stabbed in the neck and succumbed to his injuries. Also, it should be known that since the motive is jealousy, then it is a crime of passion. This type of crime is punishable by the death penalty in China. And executions are practiced in China...
This would be the first time that a Moroccan student has been involved in such a serious crime in China.
