Moroccan Student Exposes Teacher’s Alleged Racism at Spanish University on TikTok

Basma Belrhalia Laouar, a Moroccan student in journalism at the University of Murcia (UMU), denounced on Tik Tok the racist behavior of her language teacher at the Cartagena high school, who regularly suspended her because of her Moroccan origin.
In a video made on Tik Tok, Basma (smile in Arabic), 20, confided that in her second year at the Cartagena high school, her language teacher regularly suspended her from her classes, despite all her efforts to improve. The teacher finally let her know that she was not expressing herself well because she was Moroccan, she revealed in the video that went viral.

Nearly 10,000 of the 30,000 subscribers Basma has on this social network have already watched this video and expressed their support, reports ORM. The student, currently in her second year of journalism, made this video because she learned that other students of foreign origin are subjected to the same racist behavior from this teacher.
