Moroccan Striker Selim Amallah Set to Leave Standard Liège for New League

Pushed towards the exit, the Moroccan international Selim Amallah is about to leave his club, Standard de Liège, this summer. An agreement has been reached between his agents and the management for an imminent departure.
The Moroccan striker has repeatedly expressed his desire to leave Belgium and relaunch himself in another championship. He reiterated this during a recent interview with 90 Football.
"I told Standard that I wanted to go elsewhere. The management accepted. I have one year left on my contract at Standard. But I think I’ve had my time in the Belgian championship. I want to change horizons and I hope it will be concluded," he said.
Regarding his next destination, Amallah explained that he has several offers from French, English and Spanish clubs. In this sense, he did not hide his interest in La Liga. "I don’t know yet where I will be, but it’s going well," he said. However, he added, a call from LOSC in France would be welcome. "It would be an honor to play there," he affirmed.
