Moroccan Striker En-Nesyri Returns to Sevilla Training After Knee Injury

After being absent for several weeks due to injury, Youssef En-Nesyri is back. He resumed training with FC Seville on Monday and will likely be able to respond to the next gathering of the Atlas Lions, as part of the playoffs.

Injured on September 25 in the left knee tendon, Moroccan international Youssef En-Nesyri spent three weeks off the pitch to recover from this injury. He was injured during the match against Espanyol. A match in which he scored a goal, allowing FC Seville to win (2-0). His injury forced him to leave the match in the 70th minute.

His return to training on Monday is therefore good news for his club and the national team. Julien Lopetegui, coach of FC Seville, would not have supported another match without his regular striker. He will likely be in Lille on Wednesday to face LOSC in a Champions League match.

It is also good news for Vahid Halilhodzic and the Atlas Lions who were unable to count on the player in the last three matches counting towards the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
