Sevilla FC Hopeful for En-Nesyri’s Return from Thigh Injury Ahead of Celta Clash

FC Seville is eagerly awaiting the return of Youssef En-Nesyri, injured in the thigh and forced to take a break. The Spanish club hopes that he will recover quickly from his injury to take part in this weekend’s match against Celta.
Youssef En-Nesyri is recovering slowly from the thigh injury he sustained during the match against Espanyol, and could even be fully recovered before this weekend to be included in the lineup for the match against Celta. The Seville FC coach, Julen Lopetegui, is still concerned about the Moroccan striker’s health and hesitates to include him in his lineup for this match. On the other hand, the president of the Spanish club, José Castro, is more optimistic. In an interview with SER, he indicated that Youssef En-Nesyri is doing much better and that the medical staff should not exclude him from the match against Celta.

The Moroccan international was expected to take a 3 to 4 week break, but Seville’s recent defeats and the urgency to earn points in the upcoming matches could hasten his return. Because, after this match against Celta, Seville will travel to France to face the Lille team as part of the Champions League group matches. The Spanish club has already drawn against Salzburg and Wolfsburg and needs a win to not jeopardize its qualification for the round of 16.

Clearly, En-Nesyri will participate in this decisive match for Seville. As for the match this weekend against Celta, his presence seems less certain. The Moroccan striker’s health has improved a lot, but he has not yet resumed training with the team. For now, he is continuing his treatment in the gym with the physiotherapists.
