Moroccan Striker En-Nesyri Aims to Surpass Goal-Scoring Record for Sevilla
Determined to improve his performance from last season, Youssef En-Nesyri has been selected for this Sunday’s match against Real Sociedad. The Moroccan striker from Seville has already scored six goals in just 530 minutes of play.
The Moroccan international scored a hat-trick in the match against Nervion at the beginning of January, which ended in a 3-2 victory for Seville. En-Nesyri also contributed to his team’s victory against Real Sociedad in the away match played in San Sebastián on April 18 (1-2), reports ABC.
Against Real Sociedad, the young striker scored one of the two goals that gave Seville the victory in the match played on April 22, 2018 at La Rosaleda (2-0). It was also him who allowed Seville to hold on to a draw against Leganes in the match played at Anoeta on November 8, 2019 (1-1).
En-Nesyri is determined to improve his performance during this crucial season of his career. Last season, he had 24 goals scored in 3,000 minutes, which makes an average of one goal every 125 minutes.
