Morocco’s En-Nesyri Sidelined with Thigh Injury, Doubtful for National Team Duty

Injured in the thigh during the match against Espanyol, Youssef En-Nesyri will have to take a break. After undergoing several tests on Monday, the Moroccan striker of Sevilla FC is forced to rest.
The results of the medical examinations undergone by Youssef En-Nesyri are formal. The Moroccan international is suffering from a muscle injury and will have to rest in order not to aggravate his case, reports ABC. The Sevilla FC coach, Lopetegui, who also seemed rather pessimistic about En-Nesyri’s health condition, will no longer be able to count on this important player in his system.

Furthermore, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has been informed of the situation of the Sevilla striker. The national coach, Vahid Halilhodzic, fears that the Moroccan international may not recover from his injury before the three matches that the Atlas Lions will play against Guinea-Bissau twice and Guinea. For his part, Youssef En-Nesyri hopes to recover as soon as possible and take advantage of the break in the championship to prepare for these matches.
