Sevilla Striker En-Nesyri Returns to Training After Month-Long Injury Layoff
The Moroccan striker of FC Seville, Youssef En-Nesyri, has resumed training after more than a month of absence due to a muscle injury.
Absent from the pitch since November 3, En-Nesyri took part in the collective training session this Friday, reports the website of the Andalusian club, adding that on Saturday FC Seville will face Atletico Madrid, for a match counting towards the 18th day of the Liga.
The Moroccan will have to quickly regain his automatisms to get rid of the competition that has settled in his absence. This season, En-Nesyri, that’s 7 appearances, including 5 as a starter, for 3 goals and 1 assist.
Note that this return also comes three weeks before the start of the CAN, for which the striker’s position is threatened by other players in better form.
