Moroccan Stars En-Nesyri and Bounou Join Sevilla Squad in Seoul for Tottenham Friendly
Youssef En-Nesyri and Yassine Bounou flew to Seoul on Monday to join their Sevilla FC teammates who are preparing for the friendly match against Tottenham scheduled for Saturday.
The two Moroccan internationals had a few extra days off before joining the Seville team due to the matches they played last June with the Atlas Lions, counting towards the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2023).
En-Nesyri and Bounou shared several photos on social media, showing their arrival in the Korean capital, reports Marca. They will join their teammates, who have been training for a week, tomorrow, Tuesday. Last weekend, Dmitrovic, Munir, Gudelj and Delaney also joined the team after undergoing medical tests. They participated in Monday’s training session.
The new central defender Marcao should also join the team once he has undergone the medical examination. Pending new recruits during this summer transfer window, and the probable departure of Koundé, Lopetegui is reunited with his goalkeeper, Bounou, winner of the Zamora Trophy and one of the best in La Liga and Europe, and the striker En-Nesyri who hopes to improve his performance after a difficult season.
