Moroccan Star Sabiri Set for Saudi Move as Fiorentina Confirms Transfer

Moroccan international Abdelhamid Sabiri should soon leave Italy for Saudi Arabia. His club, Fiorentina, has "sold" him to a Saudi club, and he is about to undergo his medical examination.
During his morning show "Buongiorno Viola Park", Fiorentina mentioned the imminent departure of Abdelhamid Sabiri. "We have sold Sabiri," announced the club’s presenter on Violanews. The "buyer" is the Saudi Pro League club, Al Fayha, which the Moroccan international will join after his medical examination, reports Sky Sport Italia. La Viola had recruited Sabiri for three seasons (until mid-2026) for an amount of three million euros, but the attacking midfielder continued to play for his parent club, UC Sampdoria, until the end of the season on loan.
The 26-year-old player is one of the architects of the historic run of the Moroccan team at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. A dual national - he holds both German and Moroccan nationality - he had definitively joined the Atlas Lions’ den in 2022. He had scored five goals in 32 appearances in Serie A.
