Moroccan Star Nordin Amrabat Hints at Potential Return to Spain’s Málaga FC

The Moroccan Nordin Amrabat, currently without a club, is considering a return to the Spanish championship where he had proven himself in the teams of Málaga FC and Leganés.
"I have an option in Spain (Malaga), one of my old loves, but they are playing in the second division," said Nordin Amrabat, invited on the ESPN set in Holland to discuss his current situation. The player of Moroccan origin knows the Spanish championship well, having spent part of his career at Málaga FC and Leganés, reports Malaga Hoy.
Nordin spent two good years at Malaga, during which he played 64 matches and scored 8 goals in three seasons. He then signed a contract with the English club Watford where he also spent two years before being loaned to Leganés. In this second Spanish club, he played 35 matches and scored three goals.

Currently without a club, Nordin, 34, keeps himself in shape after spending three years at Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia where he played 99 matches in all competitions, scored 16 goals and won a league championship and two Super Cups. "I’m still working, I have until the end of this month. I have a personal trainer and in my basement, I have a mini gym to continue to stay in shape," explained the Moroccan who is ready to seize any opportunity. He could find himself in the Feyenoord club in the Eredivisie, or in Malaga, one of his old loves. For the moment, he has not received any offers from these clubs.
