Moroccan Star Amrabat in Talks with Qatar’s Al-Rayyan After Al-Nassr Exit

The summer transfer market will be very lively for the Atlas Lions, as is the case for Moroccan international Nordin Amrabat. The player, whose departure from Al-Nassr is no longer in doubt, could relaunch himself at Al-Rayyan, who are very interested in his profile.
Nordin Amrabat is said to have already started negotiations with the Qatari club, whose officials are said to have offered him a one-year contract, with the possibility of renewal, for an annual salary of $3 million. According to the Saudi press, the 34-year-old player is seriously considering the proposal in order to be able to return to the national team. He is one of those whose drop in form within their respective clubs greatly irritates the national coach, who dreams of a strong team.
The Moroccan international joined Al-Nassr in 2018, from Watford in England. In addition to Malaga, Leganes and Watford, Amrabat has played in Europe for the Dutch clubs PSV Eindhoven, the Turkish duo Kayserispor and Galatasaray. During his stay at Al Nassr, Amrabat had a good first season before his level dropped. In 29 matches during the current football season, he has contributed to scoring 6 goals.
The Moroccan had recently expressed his desire to return to the old continent, particularly to the Dutch championship. But Qatar seems to be the next destination for the player.
