Manchester United Sought Loan Deal for Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat, Brother Reveals

Former Moroccan international Nordin Amrabat revealed that Manchester United is one of the clubs that wanted to acquire the services of his brother Sofyan, a midfielder for Fiorentina, before the end of the January transfer window.
"I can name three clubs that were concrete in the last two or three days of the transfer window. Manchester United wanted a loan with an option to buy, but Fiorentina refused," Nordin told Voetbal Primeur. In addition to Manchester United, FC Barcelona and Chelsea had also shown interest in Sofyan Amrabat. This interest from clubs for the Moroccan midfielder is explained by his good performances at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
