Former Al-Nassr Winger Nordin Amrabat Set to Join AEK Athens

After playing for Al-Nassr, Nordin Amrabat is about to join the Greek club AEK Athens. He will be presented by the club in a few days, after undergoing the traditional medical examination.
Nordin Amrabat is continuing his career with AEK Athens, according to local media. The Atlas Lion is said to have reached an agreement with the club’s management for a two-year contract.
At 34 years old, the Moroccan winger has already played for FC Omniworld, VVV-Venlo, PSV, Kayserispor, Galatasaray, Málaga, Watford, Leganés and most recently Al-Nassr, the Saudi club with which he was unable to renew his contract.
Amrabat had recently made it known that he was looking for a new challenge. "I’m regularly contacted," he had stated at the beginning of the month, while indicating that he had not been contacted by Eredivisie clubs in the Netherlands. "No, I haven’t been contacted by Eredivisie clubs. This championship no longer has my preference, but we’ll see."
