Moroccan TV Star Najat El Ouafi Mourns Loss of Mother

Sharing her photo with her late mother, whose cause of death was not disclosed, El Ouafi simply wrote: "We belong to God, and to Him we return. My mother is no more. Good people leave us."

Several friends from the artistic world have sent her messages of condolence and expressed their compassion and sympathy.

Last July, Najat El Ouafi had been prosecuted for adultery, following a complaint filed by her husband who lives in the United States, for having been caught in the company of the director, Said Khalaf, in an apartment in the Gauthier district of Casablanca.
