Moroccan Star Hakim Ziyech Returns to Training for Galatasaray, Eyes Besiktas Clash

After several weeks of absence due to injury, Hakim Ziyech is said to have resumed training with his club, Galatasaray.
According to the local press, Hakim Ziyech has resumed training with the Turkish club and could participate in the match against Besiktas, scheduled for next Sunday. Due to injuries, the Moroccan international has missed the last five league matches. The 30-year-old player was injured during the match against Zambia (1-0) counting for the third day of the group stage of the Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire.
This season, the midfielder has only played nine games. Since his arrival at Galatasaray, Ziyech has played a total of 14 games, in all competitions, during which he scored 4 goals and provided two assists. Faced with the repeated absences of the Moroccan and his performance below expectations, the Turkish club is considering getting rid of Ziyech.
The Atlas Lion joined Galatasaray on loan from Chelsea on August 19, with a purchase option. His contract with the Blues runs until 2025.
